With the release of version 1.5 of the Ladybug SDK and the latest firmware upgrade, the Ladybug3 now supports the ability to select which cameras contribute to the auto-exposure algorithm. This is typically useful for outdoor recordings when the top camera is pointing to a bright sky. This would previously result in under exposed images on the other cameras. The top camera (and others) can now be removed from the auto-exposure algorithm to allow for better imaging on the horizontal cameras.
Version 1.5 of the Ladybug SDK includes additional new features to enhance the Ladybug2 and Ladybug3 experience. With this upgrade, you can:
- Record images when your GPS location changes after a specified distance, such as every five meters.
- Dynamically adjust the sphere radius calibration for stitching. It is no longer necessary to download and install separate calibration files.
- Adjust color properties after image processing.
- View a histogram of image property values.
