Real-Time Immersive Experiences Using Optical Motion Tracker for AR and VR Applications: Firefly MV Application Story

Imagine being able to tour the Magna Leptis, one of the biggest and best preserved Roman cities in North Africa, from the comfort of your own home, or tour a new construction project before it has even been built. Point Grey the Center of Attention at The Vision Show in Phoenix, AZ

Despite the smaller number of exhibitors and attendees at the show this year, Point Grey had an overall successful exhibition. It was impossible to miss our 400 sq ft booth, which made us one of the largest exhibitors at the show, located directly at the main entrance. Exciting demos, new product highlights, a coffee bar and cool giveaways caught visitors eyes during the 3-day event. Most attendees were locals and from the US west coast, but some also visited from Argentina, Chile, Mexico and Europe. While the aisles were not crowded, the quality of leads was high.

Point Grey Unveils Black Ladybug3 "Stealth" Model

The anodized black "stealth" model joins the classic red Ladybug3 known to spherical camera users and integrators around the world. The new case color has been introduced as a result of specific OEM customer requests for a more subtle appearance, which is often required for applications where the camera is in full view of the public and where the user wants to minimize the attention given to the camera itself. Such applications can include geographical information systems (GIS) for street-level viewing, high-end security and surveillance, and roadway or city infrastructure mapping.
