Point
Grey is announcing the release of the Dragonfly®2, an enhanced version
of the popular Dragonfly® digital camera.
The
new Dragonfly®2 digital board-level IEEE-1394a camera doubles the frame
rate, implements on-board color processing and adds many OEM requested
enhancements to the popular Dragonfly® camera.
The
Dragonfly®2 builds on the key features of the Dragonfly® such as
asynchronous trigger, four General Purpose IO pins with programmable
delays, automatic synchronization of multiple cameras, in-field
firmware upgrades, and powerful image acquisition software, yet it
still maintains 'drop-in' compatibility, a critical component for our
existing
users.
Enhancements
to the industry leading Dragonfly® include on-board color processing
with
YUV or RGB output, asynchronous hardware trigger up to full frame rate,
2x2 binning for even faster frame rates and/or greater sensitivity, a
12-bit digitizer, a programmable LUT, auto-iris lens support, and user
accessible on-board non-volatile memory.
The
Dragonfly®2 is available with 1/3" progressive scan CCDs running 640x480 at 60fps or 1024x768 at 30fps in both monochrome and
color models.
The camera is available in single board-level configurations or in a
C/CS-mount enclosure.
