Aupperle Services and Contracting is a Calgary Alberta based developer of Driver, QuickTime Component and Application software for the Macintosh market. Over two decades of development expertise make ASC's products well designed, robust and easy to use. We offers two products that are compatible with PGR Cameras, "Astro IIDC" and the "ASC IIDC/DCAM OSX FrameWork".

"Astro IIDC" is a Astronomy and Microscopy oriented application developed from the ground up to make scientific FireWire 400 and 800 camera imaging easy on the Mac. It has a simple intuitive interface, can record 8 or 16 bit movies, grab frames, has extensive Altivec optimization for real time processing for flat field, dark frame, image alignment, stacking and supports movie recording as fast as 240 frames per second to disk or as long as 1 hour per frame.

The "ASC IIDC/DCAM OSX FrameWork" is a PowerPC SDK that unlocks the full potential of IIDC cameras under Mac OS X. It has a simple "C" API and has a fully documented manual with abundant "cut and paste" code snippets to make Mac development easy. The SDK is not tied to Quicktime and does not suffer from any of the limitations that Quicktime enforces.
