ANSWER:

We recommend that you use the libdc1394 package from SourceForge for developing camera applications under Linux. The libdc1394 package includes some sample programs that demonstrate basic image acquisition and camera control. To assist PGR customers who are looking for more advanced image grabbing and processing examples, we have created some additional sample programs that can be downloaded here. Examples for use with the Stereo camera models, which demonstrate grabbing and processing stereo images, can be found here.
