Article 149 - PGR FlyCapture SDK color processing algorithm performance.

Issue:
PGR FlyCapture SDK color processing algorithm performance.

Solution:
This article discusses the performance of the various PGR FlyCapture color processing algorithms across different hardware platforms with varying processor and operating system configurations.

With the exception of the Flea2, Grasshopper, and Firefly MV cameras, color processing is performed by software on the PC in order to reduce bandwidth and allow users the flexibility to implement their own algorithms.

The following document enumerates the various color processing algorithms and how quickly each algorithm converts an 8-bit raw Bayer image into a 24-bit BGR color image.
