Article 15 - Color PGR Imaging Product shows black and white images

Issue:
Color PGR Imaging Product shows black and white images

Solution:
When a color PGR Imaging Product that does not perform on-board color processing is first started with the PGR FlyCap software, it may only display black and white images. This is because the images have to be destippled from their raw Bayer format into full color RGB on the PC.

Unless this de-stippling process is enabled, the images will appear black and white.

By default, versions of PGRFlycapture before v1.3r1 display images as stippled without doing any color processing.

The solution to this problem is to open the Camera Properties dialog, select the Color Processing tab and choose one of the color processing methods that are available.
