Issue:
This article explains how the local Windows firewall may disable the
network, causing a GigE Vision-based application not to run from a network location.
Cause:
In
cases where a GigE Vision-based application built with the FlyCapture
2.x interface is
run from a network location, the local Windows firewall may disable the
network without prompting the user, causing the application to hang.
Solution:
To
fix, add the application to the Windows firewall exception list. For
instructions, see this Microsoft
knowledge base article.
