August 6, 2004 - As PGR’s most compact IEEE-1394 digital camera, the Flea is designed to fit spaces as small as 30x31mm. Featuring a 1/3" color Sony CCD sensor available in either the 640x480 resolution at 60 FPS or 1024x768 resolution at 30 FPS plus a 12-bit ADC, this version continues to deliver excellent image quality at a high frame rate.
Similar to other PGR cameras, the color Flea will also support automatic synchronization of multiple cameras, general purpose IO pins, extended shutter times and in-field firmware upgrading.
The Flea's full development kit includes the C/CS mounted camera, an IEEE-1394 interface card and cable, Hirose 8 pin circular connector, tripod mounting adapter, PGRFlycapture C/C++ API, device driver, user manuals and one-year technical support.
At this year’s SIGGRAPH show in Los Angeles, CA, Digital Air, a PGR customer will be co-exhibiting at the PGR booth with a live demonstration of 64 high resolution color Flea cameras synchronized. Digital Air produces visual effects worldwide and develops, licenses, and sells imaging technologies for use in visual effects production.
“We are very excited to showcase our latest camera with Digital Air’s cutting edge technology, comments Vlad Tucakov, Director at PGR.
