The Ladybug®3 is the next generation of spherical digital video cameras from Point Grey Research.  The system has six 2MP cameras that enable the system to collect video from more than 80% of the full sphere, and an IEEE-1394b (FireWire) interface with locking screw connection that allows JPEG-compressed 12MP resolution images to be streamed to disk at 15fps.   • 2 gigabytes (GB) of RAM
  • NVIDIA GeForce6 video card with 128MB RAM or more
  • 64-bit PCI or PCI-X slot for the IEEE-1394b PCI card
  • Windows XP Service Pack 1 (not compatible with 64-bit operating systems)
  • Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 or Visual Studio 2005 to compile and run example code
  • SCSI RAID array to store streaming image data
